Who lives the secret lies of now? Does anyone really get this life? School is pressuring me to the max, My parents never agree on anything, So now I don't even get to pick my school, They think my world isn't their concern, But now I see the light... My father don't know what crosses my mind, Mama don't care what's behind these eyes, Pressure never ends, If I'm not perfect it's no good, They never think about passing me by, To them do they even know I lie? Under that brass paperweight, A letter they never read, I put it in an envelope, Put it under mom's pillow, At the dawn of light she reads it, I hope to never be shown that letter, The one that read: Father don't know what crosses my mind, Mama don't care what's behind these eyes, Pressure never ends, If I'm not perfect it's no good, They never think about passing me by, To them do they even know I lie? So now I pray to God, Now maybe things can change, I have a list to do now, First thing is to change my life, Next is to laugh and shine like I couldn't before, Mama don't see the light yet, Father don't see me cry yet... It all goes to show, Everybody knows, Maybe not them, Maybe not me, But there is a home meant for me, So now I pray, Until I see the light......
