Freedom never heals a broken heart,
Fighting to be by your side,
Meaning is never anything unless
You live and die with unspoken rain,
Forever I shall wait,
Love undefined makes perfect sense,
People are hard to read,
A book never lies in truth,
Alliances never work,
Pleasure is hard to feed
When you are so close to someone,
Yet you are so far and alone,
So ask yourself in the light,
How is fear so comforting?
How is the life so hidden in the dark?
How is pain the least of our worries in a physical state?
How are emotions more powerful than a beating?
Now in one life,
One dream is never true,
How can there be pain in faded light?
